Mast Raising and Lowering

The mast is light and can easily be raised or lowered by hand. For trailering and for going under bridges only the forward mast support wire needs to be disconnected in order to lower the mast. All the other rigging remains in place.

If desired, the 26 can be fitted with a mast raising system. This optional fitting allows the mast to be raised and lowered using one of the boat's sailing winches.
